Jeff-Johnson

Jeffrey D. Johnson, D.Min- Director of Academics

Professor of Expository Preaching, Covenant Theology, Ecclesiology, Apologetics

Pastor Jeff is the founding pastor of Grace Bible Church, the Owner/Operator of Free Grace Press and a graduate of Veritas Theological Seminary. He is the author of several books including The Fatal Flaw of the Theology Behind Infant Baptism, Behind the Bible: Introduction to Textual Criticism, The Church: Why Bother?, The Kingdom of God, The Absurdity of Unbelief, The Pursuit of Glory, and He Died for Me.

Danny-Thursby

Daniel Thursby Jr - Director of Administration

Danny was ordained as a pastor at Grace Bible Church of Conway in 2017 and has served as the Administrative Director since 2016. He is a systematic theology student at Reformed Baptist Seminary and a Graduate of Central Baptist College.

Taylor-Walls

Taylor Walls - Director of International Studies

Taylor serves as a missionary of GBC to Latin America and holds a position on the board of Confessional Baptist Seminary of Cuba. He is a 2019 Graduate Candidate of GBTS, a M.Div student at Reformed Baptist Seminary and a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in linguistics. He has lectured on Old Testament, New Testament, Greek Grammar, and Baptist History in ministerial training programs throughout Latin America.

Tom-Nettles

Tom Nettles Ph.D

Tom has most recently served as the Professor of Historical Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He previously taught at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where he was Professor of Church History and Chair of the Department of Church History. Prior to that, he taught at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. Along with numerous journal articles and scholarly papers, Dr. Nettles is the author and editor of nine books. Among his books are By His Grace and For His Glory; Baptists and the Bible, and Why I Am a Baptist. (from Founders.org)

Robert-Gonzales

Dr. Robert R. Gonzales Jr. Ph.D

Bob has served as a pastor of four Reformed Baptist congregations and has been the Academic Dean and a professor of RBS since 2005. He is the author of Where Sin Abounds: the Spread of Sin and the Curse in Genesis with Special Focus on the Patriarchal Narratives (Wipf & Stock, 2010) and has contributed to the Reformed Baptist Theological Review, The Founders Journal, and Westminster Theological Journal. Dr Gonzales is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society. He and his wife, Becky, reside in Sacramento, California. (from rbseminary.org)

Greg-Nichols

Greg Nichols M.Div

Pastor Greg has been a full-time vocational elder since 1994. God saved him in 1971 when he was in his early 20s and living in the New York Metro area. From 1977 -1980, he completed Trinity Ministerial Academy (TMA). In 1978, he was ordained into ministry, serving in a church planting work in Hackettstown, NJ. Then, from 1980-1992, he served as a pastor at Trinity Baptist in Montville, NJ and also taught several subjects at TMA. In 1992, he moved his family to Grand Rapids to serve as an instructor at the Reformed Baptist School of Theology (now Reformed Baptist Seminary, or RBS). Ever since that time, he has taught classes in Systematic Theology. He now serves on the board at RBS, from which he earned his M Div. He has authored three books: Covenant Theology, and Lectures in Systematic Theology, Volume 1, The Doctrine of God, and Volume 2, the Doctrine of Man. (from girbc.org)

Joel-Beeke

Dr. Joel Beeke (Ph.D)

He is president and professor of systematic theology and homiletics at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, a pastor of the Heritage Reformed Congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and editorial director of Reformation Heritage Books. He has written and co-authored one hundred books (most recently, A Puritan Theology: Doctrine for Life, Knowing and Growing in Assurance of Faith, and Debated Issues in Sovereign Predestination), edited another one hundred books, and contributed 2,500 articles to Reformed books, journals, periodicals, and encyclopedias.

Keith-Throop

Keith Throop (M.Div)

Keith Throop is the primary teaching elder at Immanuel Baptist Church in Bloomington, Illinois, where he has served since 1993. He has been an author of the Reformed Baptist Blog since 2006. He has a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Columbia International University and an M.Div. with an emphasis in Hermeneutics from Covenant Theological Seminary.

Voddie-Baucham

Dr. Voddie Baucham (D.Min)

Dr. Voddie Baucham, Jr currently serves as Dean of the Seminary at African Christian University (ACU) in Lusaka, Zambia. Dr. He holds degrees from Houston Baptist University (BA in Christianity/BA in Sociology), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.), an honorary degree from Southern California Seminary (D.D.), and additional post-graduate study at the University of Oxford, England (Regent’s Park College).
